Provides mental health counseling and therapy treatment services to individuals, couples, families, and groups with the FSIP tribal communities and local community. Provides Substance Abuse Education and other Mental Health Support groups as needed. Completes written Psycho-Social, Mental Health assessments for individual clients for client admission. Provides out-patient mental health counseling to communities of Zia, Santa Ana, Cochiti Pueblos, and other sites as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:
LCSW/LMSW in Social Work or LPCC/LMHC in Counseling, with a minimum of two years experience in out-patient Mental Health/Alcohol/Drug Treatment Systems. Experience in a variety of psychotherapeutic treatment models involving individuals, families and groups in a Behavioral Health Setting. Prefer experience working with Native American population.
Operates main telephone switchboard, receives and routes telephone calls appropriately, greets and directs visitors to appropriate staff. Performs some clerical tasks including typing, word processing, filing, copying and faxing.
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. Responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, greeting the public, providing customer assistance, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties.
Responsible for developing and implementing individualized case management plans based on comprehensive clinical assessments for each client admitted to the program. Ensures ongoing case management services, evaluates quarterly treatment reviews, oversees plan revisions through a structured review process, and provides consistent case consultation to support quality care.
Teacher Assistants for Head Start programs assist Lead Teachers in planning and implementing learning experiences that advance the intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of children within a safe, healthy learning environment. They encourage the involvement of the families of the children of the program and support the development of relationships between children and their families. The Teacher Assistant helps plan and participates in classroom, playground, and field trip activities. These activities are designed to foster or enhance all areas of the child's development. Performs as an integral part of the education team, under the general direction of the Education Coordinator, with support from the Teacher.
Under the general supervision of the Health & Nutrition Coordinator and with guidance from the contracted Nutritionist, the Cook is responsible for guaranteeing that the children are served nutritious, good tasting and appealing meals. It is the Cook's responsibility to prepare these meals by methods that maintain high nutrient levels. It is also the Cook's duty to deliver meals to the children ready for family style meal service and suitable for the children's age and development. Keep records as required by the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), the Delegate Agency and the Grantee. This position involves extensive organizing, problem solving, record keeping, and time management.
